Gülşah Elikbank She was born in İstanbul in 1980. She graduated from the Faculty of Communication in İstanbul University. She received her MA on the psychology of management and working from Marmara University. She worked as an executive for seven years in İstanbul, in three regions of Turkey and in a construction and tourism company in Romania. She moved to İzmir and started to run the first literature themed hotel, Mini Fuar Hotel.

Her first novel was the first book of the Sunflower Triology, Black Breath which was published in January 2010. The second book of the trilogy, Blue Mountain was published in April 2011. Both of the books had their second edition by Postiga publishing house in September 2011. Her romance novel, The Shadow of Love which is about the fragility of women who grew up without their fathers, was published in November 2011. The third book of the Sunflower Trilogy, Red Death is due to be published in April 2012.
