Medine Çınar

Medine Çınar She was born in Ölçek, Ardahan in 1957. She became interested in folk poetry in primary school. She moved to Ankara with her family afterwards. She got married at a young age and left school at her second year in middle school. Her husband Zeki Çınar was a labor worker in Germany for 21 years and this resulted in a dominant theme of homesickness in her poetry. She has three kids named Çınar, Seyhan and Gökhan.
