Reyhan Yıldız

She was born in İstanbul in 1973. She graduated from the Faculty of Communication in İstanbul University. She worked as an interviewer in the private TV channels, also as a producer, copywriter and editor. She prepared documentaries, “Ateşe Dönen Dünya: Sarıkamış”, “Çankaya’nın Hanımefendileri”, “Unutulan Savaş Kore” and “Ortadoğu’da Medcezirler”.

She is a member of PEN. Her articles and interviews were published in newspaper suppplements and web pages such as Milliyet Sanat, Amargi ve Vizyon, Radikal 2, Akşam Kitap, Cumhuriyet Kitap and Radikal Kitap. In her book, Inside, she presented the experiences of custody and jail of writers and intellectuals through their first person narratives. The book also gave a chance to some of these people tell their such experiences for the first time. This work has become a first in the field of oral history.
